This antique insect brooch dates back to Victorian period- circa 1890, the exquisite little insect depicts a bee/bug. The bee is made up of a solid opal body, blue sapphire as the head and two shell based seed pearls set in each wing, the insect is set upon a double knife edge bar with ball detailing.
This piece shows signs of wear but is in overall good condition.

- Rubbed marking for 9ct yellow gold.
