Pendant Australian Opal Winton WR4

This piece of Australian Opal is from Winton, piece of Boulder Opal was mined, cut and polished in Queensland. There is a bright flash of green blue at the top of the stone, held at the right angle and best seen in sunlight, an earth coloured stone with earthy swirl markings over the surface. The flash of colour gives one a glimpse into the past. One off piece.

This piece was formed in an opalized wood where old branches and debris have been replaced by opal forming beautifully elegant opal specimens.
