How to style your palazzo pants
Posted on July 25 2017
Palazzo pants are making a comeback? Or have they never really been out?
This stylish, chic and comfortable style can be personalised for most events and occasions, we see them at the races, at weddings, office parties at the Barbeque and of course at the beach.
Flattering most figure types depending on the colour and print chosen, it is a common misunderstanding that curvy girls can’t wear Palazzo pants it’s just all about choice of cut. It’s best if your pants are just skimming above the ground so if they are too long wear higher heels or crack out a needle and cotton. For slimmer girls, a crop top or tucked in blouse can work really well, but if you want to hide a few curves there are plenty of slightly longer tunic tops that look great with palazzo pants.
Our Mombasa rose designers have come up with a super flattering cut that has elastic at the back and a deep front pleat falling from the front waistband that really flatters over the tummy area. The fabric should always be soft enough to fall softly from the waist without catching anywhere. These stylish, comfortable and versatile pants are a design that Mombasa rose will be running in their range for some time yet.
Palazzo pants can be found in prints to match every mood and taste, ranging from classic monotone prints to bold stripes, from gentle floral prints to super rainbow coloured summer beach prints.
As well as coming in a huge variety of prints they also are also popular in sophisticated textural plains for more formal wear, they are often worn at weddings or at the races.

Shoes that look best with Palazzo pants
For a perfect finishing touch its important to choose the right shoes, it may seem that as they are hidden under the wide leg the shoe is less important, but its still a good idea to pick the right style.
Heels are a good idea as they lift the hem clear of the ground so creating a softer shape., for now a pair of mid height chunky heels or short boots with a heel will make a good choice, but in summer a high strappy heel also can look divine.
If you are wearing your pants to the beach then go for a pair of Mediterranean style espadrilles, or even wear your trusty Havianas.
